Babe Ruth Prep League -- June 30

JCR Carpentry jumped out to a 10-2 first inning lead and went on to down Taylor Law Offices 20-7 in Babe Ruth Prep League competition Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Ben Strullmyer picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter. Clint Weber led the winners in hitting with two singles, a triple and four RBI. Nathan Schultz had three singles and two RBI.

Bryson Wall led Taylor Law with two singles and two RBI.

The second contest went to the Teutopolis Jaguars over Effingham Asphalt 10-3. The Jaguars took a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back.

Jack Hoene had a single and double while Lee Nosbisch had a double and two RBI and Dawson Smith a single, home run and four RBI.

Liam Hammer led Asphalt with three singles and two RBI.
