Schumacher Orthopedics claimed an 8-6 win over NAPA in 11-12 Year-Old League competition at Community Park Monday.
Schumacher took a 3-1 first inning lead then trailed NAPA 6-3 going into the bottom of the fourth. Schumacher then tallied three runs to knot the score at 6-6. Schumacher won the contest with two runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Both teams had six hits in the contest. Schumacher was led by Nate Shackleford with a single, triple and an RBI while Logan Brown and Ben Donsbach had a double each. Brown drove in two runs while Donsbach had one.
Collin Waymoth led NAPA with a single and double.
Kemper CPA fell behind early but came back to down Rhodes Chiropractic 10-7.
Rhodes held a 5-4 lead in the second before Kemper regained the lead with three runs in the third. Rhodes tied in the top of the fourth but Kemper tallied a run in the bottom of the frame and two in the fifth.
Kemper had only four hits led by Matthew Loy and Isaac Walk with a double each. Walk added an RBI.
Chase Woomer, Brayton Poland and Trenton Tuttle had a double and an RBI each.
