Junior Babe Ruth League -- June 26

Sehy & Jones and K. Wohltman Construction both captured victories in Junior Babe Ruth League play Thursday at Community Park.

Sehy & Jones Optometrists opened the evening with a 13-2 win over Washington Savings Bank. Brett Koester pitched a two-hitter with Caleb Wendt earning the save.

Wendt had a double and four RBI while Brandon Puckett had a double. Quincy Aldrich led Washington Savings with an inside the park home run. He finished with two RBI.

In the second contest, Midland States bank edged K. Wohltman Construction, 12-11. Jacob Donaldson was the winning pitcher on a six-hitter.

Ryan Sandifer had a single, two doubles and an RBI while Mason Hull had a single, double and two RBI for the winners. Jason Devore chipped in with a double and an RBI.

K. Wohtman Construction was led by Josh Overbeck with a double and triple and Brogan Hull with a double and two RBI.
