Babe Ruth Prep League -- June 26

JCR Carpentry edged the Falcons 7-6 in Babe Ruth Prep League competition Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

The Falcons held a 2-1 first inning lead and pushed that to 4-1 in the second and 5-1 in the third. JCR Carpentry rallied with a six-run fourth then held off the Falcons in the fifth for the win.

Stephens and Schulte had the lone hits for the winners with a single each. Stephens drove in a run.

The Falcons were led by Zack Lee with a solo home run and a single. Josh Hardiek chipped in with a double and an RBI.

In the second game, the Warriors beat Taylor Law 12-7. The Warriors held a 4-3 first inning lead and never relinquished the lead the rest of the way.

Wendt had a single, triple and two RBI for the winners while Hardiek had a double and two RBI.

Runde led Taylor Law with a single and double.
