Kemper CPA claimed a 10-1 win over Dairy Queen in 11-12 Year-Old League competition at Community Park Wednesday.
Kemper took a 5-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Dairy Queen's lone run came in the third. D.Q. outhit Kemper 7-5.
Kemper was led by Mathew Loy, Luke Spencer, Sam Thompson and Ben Thompson with a double each. Spencer had two RBI.
Cole Niebrugge led Dairy Queen with three singles and a double while Parker Siner had a triple and drove in three runs.
In the second contest, Northside Ford handed Kingery Printing a 10-3 loss despite the two teams combining for only three hits.
The winners had only one hit, a single by Devin Tingley. Kingery Printing had two hits, singles by Tim Moore and Evans. Moore drove in a run.
