Effingham Asphalt jumped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and never looked back in a 14-3 win over Niemerg Construction in Babe Ruth Prep League action Monday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.
Luke Sparks picked up the pitching win. Asphalt had six hits led by Brown with a triple and four RBI and Potter with a triple and two RBI. Walsh added two singles and two RBI.
Niebrugge had two singles and an RBI while Guy added two singles.
