South Central FS edged Dan Hecht 7-6 in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League competition Friday at Community Park.
Dan Hecht held a 3-1 lead until the third when South Central FS moved ahead 4-3. Dan Hecht came back with two runs in the fourth to lead 5-4. South Central FS then tallied three more in the fifth and held off a final inning challenge.
Hoene had a single, double, two-run homer and finished with four RBI for the winners. Castillo had a single, triple and two RBI and Hammer a single and double.
Niebrugge led Dan Hecht with a single, double and an RBI. Kirby had a single and two RBI.
In the second contest, Russ Braunecker took a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back in a 15-1 win over Heritage Builders.
Braunecker banged out 17 hits led by Maxedon with three doubles, a triple and three RBI, Dill with three singles, a triple and four RBI, Koester a single, double and three RBI, Miller two doubles and three RBI, Kiefer a single and double and Sager a single, double and an RBI.
