Babe Ruth Prep League -- June 17

Niemerg Construction and Effingham Asphalt both tallied 10 runs in picking up Babe Ruth Prep League victories at Evergreen Hollow Park Tuesday evening.

Niemerg Construction edged Taylor Law Offices 10-9. Niemerg took a 2-0 first inning lead but Taylor Law came back with a six-run second. Niemerg tallied three in the third and tied the score in the fourth. Taylor Law moved ahead 9-6 in the fifth but Niemerg fought back with four runs to pull out the victory.

Both teams had six hits and two errors. Blake Niebrugge had two singles, a triple and drove in three runs while Ollie Kingery had two singles and two RBI.

Taylor Law was led by Tyler Runde and Dylon Fergusen with a double each. Runde had three RBI. Dawson Guerrettaz added two singles and two RBI.
