Junior Babe Ruth League Results -- June 12

K. Wohltman Construction edged Tri-Power Towing 7-6 in Junior Babe Ruth League competition Thursday at Community Park.

K. Wohltman edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead and led 4-0 until the bottom of the fourth when Tri-Power took the lead with a six-run inning. K. Wohltman Construction came back with three runs to pull out the victory.

Brogan Hull had the lone extra base hit for the winners with a double and two RBI. Blake Nichols added two singles and two RBI.

Lane Belleville led Tri-Power with a single and double. Brett Koester, who batted for both teams as a substitute, had two singles and two RBI.

In the second contest, Midland States Bank and Washington Savings Bank played to a 2-2 tie due to the rain. Quincy Aldrich pitched a no-hitter.

Blake Kitten and Aldrich had a double each for Washington Savings Bank. Aldrich added an RBI. Jason Kenter had a single and double.
