Shelby County Legion Picks Up DH Victories

Shelby County Legion Posts 289-611-725 picked up a doubleheader victory over Charleston Legion Post 93 during the weekend.

Shelby County won 9-1 behind 11 hits. Gunner Thies had the big hits with a doiuble, home run and one RBI while Tyler Romack had a single, double and two RBI while Luke McConnell had a single and double. Tyler Hendryx and Zach Monroe had a double each. Monroe drove in two runs while Hendryx had one RBI.

Shelby County then claimed a 16-9 victory. Once again the bats were hot for Shelby County with 15 hits. Hendryx had a single and two doubles while Monroe had three singles, a home run and seven RBI.
