Cal Ripken Results -- June 4

Arrow Pest Control handed Dairy Queen a 12-9 defeat in 11-12 Year-Old League baseball competition Wednesday at Community Park.

Dairy Queen held a 3-1 first inning lead but Arrow came back with a five-run third then tacked on two runs in each of the next three innings.

Justin Buennemeyer had a single, double and an RBI for the winners while Dalton Will added a single, triple and an RBI and Trey Brummer two singles and two RBI.

Cole Niebrugge led Dairy Queen with a single, double, home run and an RBI. Parker Sinner chipped in with a single, triple and drove in four runs.

In the second contest of the evening, Schumacher Orthodontics came back strong for a 9-1 win over Arab Pest Control.

Arab held a 1-0 lead until the bottom of the second when Schumacher tied. Schumacher then went ahead with a run in the third and never looked back.

Conner Weber had a single, two doubles and two RBI for the winners. Collin Hartke led Arab with a single and double.
