Russ Braunecker edged Dan Hecht 8-5 in the first game in Tommorrow's Stars Khoury League play Wednesday evening at Community Park.
Braunecker took a 2-0 first inning lead but Dan Hecht knotted the score in the second. Braunecker moved ahead with a run in the third but, once again, Dan Hecht came back and this time took a 5-3 lead. Braunecker then tallied five runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Wernsing led Braunecker with a double, triple and three RBI while Maxedon had a double and an RBI.
Britton led Dan Hecht with two singles, a triple and two RBI.
In the second game, South Central FS pounded out 11 hits and scored 20 runs in a 20-5 win over Heritage Builders.
Hoene had a double, two triples and six RBI for the winners while Neibrugge had a single, home run and five RBI.
