ST. LOUIS--Lance Lynn improved to 5-2 with seven innings of two-run ball as the Cardinals bounced the Braves 5-2 at Busch Stadium. Allen Craig paced the offense with three hits and a RBI, while Matt Adams pounded two doubles. Trevor Rosenthal grabbed his 12th save in the win for the Cards, who have won three straight. Ervin Santana lost his first game of the season after being rocked for five runs in as many innings on 10 hits. Chris Johnson had two hits in the loss and Tyler Pastornicky drove in a run for Atlanta, who have dropped three of four.

CHICAGO--Jean Segura went three-for-five with a two-run single as the Brewers built an early 4-0 lead and held on to beat the Cubs 4-3 at Wrigley Field. Jonathan Lucroy also singled in a run for Milwaukee, which took the opener of the three-game series. Kyle Lohse pitched seven innings of three-run ball to improve to 5-1 as the Brewers won for the fifth time in their last six games. Francisco Rodriguez closed it out for his 17th save. Jeff Samardzija gave up four runs, but just two earned, in five frames to fall to 0-4. Darwin Barney and Junior Lake homered for the Cubs.

HOUSTON--Adam Dunn went deep and drove in three runs as the White Sox rolled the Astros 7-2 at Minute Maid Park. Dunn finished with two hits, while Conor Gillaspie collected two hits and two RBI in the win. Tyler Flowers drove in a run and Gordon Beckham added a RBI single. Jose Quintana tossed five innings and gave up two runs to improve to 2-3. Collin McHugh fell to 2-2 after 5-1/3 innings and giving up four runs. Jason Castro and George Springer drove in runs in the loss for Houston.
