Cal Ripken League Results -- May 8

Northside Ford and Arrow Pest Control captured victories Wednesday evening in Cal Ripken League action at Community Park.

Northside Ford 14, DEKALB 9

DEKALB outhit Northside Ford but ended up on the down side of the score. DEKALB held a 2-0 first inning lead but Northside tied in the second then had a seven-run third and held off a final inning challenge.

Blake Fitzgerald had the lone extra base hit for Northside with a double and an RBI. Brody Conkling added two singles and two RBI.

Carson Utz had two singles, triple and four RBI for DEKALB while Kyle Pemberton added two singles, a home run and two RBI.

Arrow Pest Control 17, Arab Pest Control 3

Dalton Will picked up the pitching win while Jake Stoneburner got the save.

Arrow was led in hitting by Dylan Overbeck with a single, double and three RBI, Dalton Will with a double and two RBI and Wyatt Jones with two singles and two RBI.

Andrew Wilkins led Arab with a triple.
