Brownstown/St. Elmo stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and went on to down Ramsey 11-1 in five innings via the 10-run rule in high school baseball action Thursday.

Levi Maxey pushed his pitching record to 3-1 on the season by going four innings, allowing two hits, three walks and striking out 10.

Dalton Parks and Drake Hill had two singles. Hall had three RBI while Parks added an RBI. Brownstown/St. Elmo improved to 7-6 on the season.

At Mulberry Grove

Altamont ended its game in the fifth inning by a 13-1 count over Mulberry Grove Thursday.

The Indians led 9-0 after two innings and never looked back. Winn almost went the whole circuit with a single, double and triple. Wolff added a single and double while Ricketts and Borders had two singles each.

Wolff picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter.
