Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School handed Effingham St. Anthony a 7-4 loss in baseball competition Wednesday.
The Blue Devils stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead. St. Anthony pulled within 5-3 in the fourth but Windsor tacked on single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
Allen had a double for Windsor while Vonderheide, Kramer and Hutchinson had two singles each.
St. Anthony was led by Jacob Lorenz with a triple, Neil Williams with two singles, Austin Bushur and Bryan Jansen with a double each.

At Shelbyville
Effingham High School roughed up Shelbyville to the tune of 13-2 in five innings Wednesday.
The Hearts banged out 15 hits in the contest led by Khye Heuerman with a home run and two RBI, Adam Koester with three singles and three RBI, Michael Woltman with a single, double and an RBI and Lane Koenig with a double and three RBI.
Brayden Bone pitched 4.2 innings allowing three hits, two walks and striking out nine for the win.
In a junior varsity game, Teutopolis blanked Effingham 9-0. EHS was led by Caleb Martin with a double. The Hearts drop to 4-4.

At Dieterich
Dieterich claimed a doubleheader over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick Wednesday.
The Movin' Maroons won 6-0 and 9-2 combining for 21 hits in the two contests. In the 6-0 win, Vahling had a single, triple and two RBI while Baninck had a double and two RBI and Ruholl two singles.
Higgs pitched a one-hiter with three strikeouts.
In the 9-2 win, Dieterich had 14 hits led by Campton with two singles, a double and three RBI, Traub with a single and double and Poe and Mellendorf with two singles and two RBI each.
With the two wins, Dieterich moved above .500 at 5-4 on the season.
