Tingley claims Prep Tournament Title

Tingley Insurance picked up the championship of the Babe Ruth Prep League Baseball Tournament Wednesday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.
Tingley downed Effingham Asphalt 11-1 in five innings. The score was tied at 1-1 after the first inning. Tingley scored six runs in the second and tallied runs over the next three innings to end the game via the 10-run rule.
Derek Moschenrose pitched a two-hitter. He also aided his own cause with a double and two RBI. Sam Childerson had a single, double and three RBI while Brandon Puckett had a single, double and an RBI.
