Tim J. Ziegler (53) of Effingham

Our beloved son, Tim J. Ziegler, 53, of Effingham, IL, passed away in the arms of his parents on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at his home.
Tim was born on December 4, 1971 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Walter J. “Jim” and Patricia A. (Harper) Ziegler. He graduated from Effingham High School in 1990 and from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1995. He worked at various places throughout his career. Tim loved being a pharmacist and an amateur photographer. He collected mortar and pestle sets, Star Wars memorabilia, and newsboy caps. He was also quite a history buff and a whiz at Jeopardy. Tim was a kind, loving, and gentle person with a heart as big as the sky. Tim was a Christian and attended Macedonia Christian Church when able.
Tim is survived by his two daughters, Sophia and Bella Ziegler; brother, Adam Ziegler; his parents; and a niece, Makinley and a nephew, Aiden Ziegler.
His wish of cremation will be carried out by Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.
