Clifford Neal Willison, age 67, of Bible Grove, Illinois passed away at 8:55 pm Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Clifford was born on May 22, 1957, in Effingham, Illinois the son of Robert Dale and Betty Lou (Zink) Willison. Clifford was a life long farmer farming with his dad at the home place. He lived to farm having also done some custom spraying for other farms too. Clifford was also an avid gardener loving to live off the land. A true sports fan he loved to watch all kinds of different sports but his true team he loved to watch was the St. Louis Cardinals. Clifford would often be found out riding the countryside in his side by side just out observing nature and looking at the crops. When he was out riding he did not like to see litter, he would often stop and clean up the road ditches when he saw trash out in them. Clifford was also a woodworker, loving to construct beautiful tables to frames, and shelves to whatever someone needed built. Clifford was a simple man but loved life and the simple pleasures in it.

Clifford is survived by his sisters: Sharon (Robert) Lauderback of Flora, Joyce (David) Toombs of Teutopolis; 4 nieces and nephews: Nicholas Toombs of Memphis, Tennessee, Lisa (Jordan) Pals of Teutopolis, Angel Walden of Flora, Jodi (Rodd) Engelmeier of Flora; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services to celebrate Clifford's life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the McGriff Funeral Home in Louisville with Gene Birch officiating. Burial will follow the services on the corner of the homeplace at the German Methodist Cemetery, Bible Grove. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Clifford's memory to either the American Cancer Society or to the HOPE Lodge at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
