Pat was born on March 6, 1955 in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of Leo and Annabelle (Watts) Allen. She grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Routt Catholic High School. She married Kurt Weber on October 15, 1977. Pat worked for many years at the Highway Department Credit Union. After her six children were all in school, she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse. She graduated from Olney Central College and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Eastern Illinois University. Pat was a gifted and compassionate nurse, spending nearly 20 years in the operating room at St. Anthony Hospital, where many took comfort simply knowing she was there. Pat was a rock—steady, strong, and ever-present. She went out of her way to make sure everyone felt loved, comforted, and well-fed. She was just cool – and moms aren’t supposed to be cool. She was always ready to lend a hand, often visiting the sick and serving as a morning door supervisor at Teutopolis Grade School. She was an amazing mother and a beloved Granny to her grandchildren, but her warmth extended far beyond her family—everyone who entered her home felt like one of her own. Pat was known for her quick wit, spicy humor, and unforgettable cooking. She could turn any moment into a song and a little dance when the mood struck. And when she cooked, she cooked for an army—every meal was a feast, always with enough for one more at her table. Her presence remains strongly felt within the family. Her family and friends adored her and will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, serving as Regent and Vice-Regent.

Pat is survived by her husband, Kurt Weber of Teutopolis; children, Ryan (Devon) Weber of England, Laura (Phillip) Tuttle of Springfield, IL, Eric (fiancée, Chelsea Childress) Weber of Altamont, Jackie (fiancé, TJ Miller) Weber of Teutopolis, Shawn (Shania) Weber of Altamont, and Michelle (Blake) Koerner of Effingham; grandchildren, Norah, Alice, Leo, Liviana, Dillon, Jordan, Roslyn, Fiona, Damon, Dante, Bonnie, Justice, Ellie, Camila, and two grandchildren on the way; and sister, Mary Kay (Harland) DeGroot of Springfield, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rita Pfeiffer; and brother, Tom Allen.
