Jene Henry Griggs, 64, of Altamont, died at 2:46 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Effingham.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. A private family burial will be held at Tower Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
Jene Henry Griggs was born on Saturday, July 9, 1960 in Olney, IL to John and Alta (Student Liesn) Griggs.
He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Griggs, Effingham and Jack Griggs, Indiana; sister, Janice Cravens, Tower Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
