It is with extreme sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Larry Flach. He departed this earth on January 17, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on March 31, 1947 in Montrose, IL to Reginald and Deloris (Kingery) Flach. On April 4, 1970, he was married to the love of his life, Lucille Wesselman. To that union they had 4 children.

Larry worked for GE, Eastern Illinois University, sold insurance and was a farmer for many years. He was a member of the Toledo Masonic Lodge and the Effingham Knights of Columbus.

Larry was a simple man. He loved to watch his kids and now grandkids play all sports. If he was not in the gym or at the ballfield you could find him fishing or hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Flach, children, Lisa (Thomas) Jewell, Laquita Campbell (special friend Justin Schoenfelder), Lana (Scott) Hall, Larry “Reggie” (Katie) Flach. They were blessed to be grandparents to 11 and great grandparents to 7. Sisters Karen (Raymond) Drees, Aleta (Donald) Bushue and Brother-in-law Pete Frese.
