Steven D. Lawrence, 72, of Altamont, died at 8:55 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Aperion Care of St. Elmo.
According to Steven’s wishes there will be no services. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
Steven was born on October 13, 1952 in LaCrosse, KS to William “Don” and Janice (Ohlemeier) Lawrence. He worked at Effingham Truck Sales for 50 years and retired as parts manager.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori (Charles) Osterholtz of St. Elmo, Amy (Jeff) Bernahl of Vandalia, and Cristy (Dan) Beck of Beecher City; brothers, Mike (Toni) Lawrence of Parsons, TN and Daryl Lawrence of Toledo; several grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
