Mary Ellen Wolf (89) of Nixa, MO

Mary Ellen Wolf, 89, of Nixa, Missouri died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Castlewood Senior Living Center.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altamont with Rev. Marcus Manley officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice. Gieseking Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary Ellen was born on Friday, May 10, 1935 in Altamont, IL to Paul and Emily (Bandelow) Yagow. She married Rev. Erhard W.W. Wolf on June 26, 1955 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altamont. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2015. She was a member of Faith Lutheran, Springfield, MO. In addition to raising her family she retired from American Greetings, Nixa, MO.

She is survived by: her son, Nathan (Cathy) Wolf of Collinsville, OK; daughters, LaQuita (Jimmie) Mays of Eldon, MO and Renee (Dan) Fall of Fredericktown, MO; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, John Paul Wolf; brother, Stewart (Norma) Yagow.
