Jack Duane Harrell, age 88, passed away at his home in Olney, Illinois on December 23, 2024.
Jack entered this world at home on South West Street in in Olney, Illinois, the son of Pearl F and Myra (Walker) Harrell on August 4, 1936. He joined his sister Wanda and 2 sisters followed later: Mina Rae and Mira Linn.
Jack is survived by his Wife of 43 years, Kimbara G. Harrell; daughter Cecelia A. Ealey; son Christopher J Harrell; 6 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephew.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl F. Harrell and Myra Walker Harrell; his son, Tony Harrell; 3 sisters- Wanda Lee Goodwin; Mina Rae Harrell and Mira Linn Cazel.
The funeral service for Jack will be Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney at 11:00 AM with visitation for family and friends from 10:00 until the time of service. The burial will follow at Hazel Dell Cemetery North in Hazel Dell, Illinois. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left by clicking here.
