Sandra Williams (54) of St. Elmo

Sandra Williams, 54, of St. Elmo, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

As per Sandra’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the family. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sandra Darlene Williams was born on Friday, December 26, 1969 in Joliet, Illinois to Jerry and Rebecca (Hatfield) Tieffel. She married Thomas L. Williams on November 26, 1999. She was previously employed at World Color Press and Fedders USA.

In addition to her husband of over 25 years, she is survived by; her step-father, Russ Antonacci, Clearwater, FL; son, Sebastian (Tara) Williams, Effingham; daughters, Kristin (Trent) Seiler, Effingham and Skylar Dye, St. Elmo; brothers, Eric Dunaway, Herrick and Anthony Antonacci, Clearwater, FL; sisters, Christina Antonacci, Pinellas Park, FL and Stefanie (Mike) Herlihy, Hudson, FL; granddaughters; Baylee, Maddie, Lydia, Finley, Shae, Topanga and Zuri; sisters-in-law; Betty Brown, Sally West, Patty (Mike) Caraway and Stefanie Williams; brother-in-law, David Oglesby; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by; her parents, Jerry and Rebecca (Hatfield) Tieffel; step-mother, Paula Tieffel; mother-in-law, Betty Powers and father-in-law, Harold Powers; brothers, Ryan Dunaway and Brian Boyken; brothers-in-law, Robert Brown, Jerry West and John Williams.
