Skyler William Stanley, age 4, of Newton, Illinois, joined the angels in Heaven on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Skyler will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family.

Skyler was born on November 10, 2020, in Effingham, Illinois the son of Jacob Stanley and Katie Lynn Krueger. Skyler loved riding his motorcycle, going fishing and playing with his siblings and cousins. A little boy with a great big heart, Skyler always had the brightest smile and loved everyone. He was sometimes a rowdy little boy; often telling people he was his “mom’s ham.” He loved to talk on the phone and to visit his neighbor Paul who was a great buddy to Skyler.

Skyler will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Jacob and Katie of Newton; siblings Reagan Stanley and Tyson Stanley of Newton; paternal grandmother, Lacey (Hal) Marcellus of Montrose; maternal grandmother Marla Krueger (Curt Rogers) of Beecher City; maternal grandfather, Lawrence (Wanita) Krueger of Beecher City; great-grandmother, Paula Stanley of Newton; great-great grandmother, Janet Bickers of Wheeler; and lots of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Skyler was preceded in death by his great grandpa Bill Stanley, great grandparents Owen and Macel Karnes, Great great grandpa Ron Bickers, great great grandparents Shirley and Pork Stanley and great great aunt Eve Armour.
