Roxanna was born in 1942, St. Louis, MO, the daughter of John H. and Magoline (Davis) White. She married William Osborn in 1959. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2018. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family, a caring sister and aunt, and a faithful friend to many. She cared for so many in her life and the love and kindness she showed will live on. Roxanna opened doors for future generations of women by becoming one of the first female GM Parts & Service Supervisors/Consultants for GM Dealerships in the late 1970s. Being a trailblazer for women and breaking down stereotypes is just one of the many ways she left her mark on this world. Without question though, her most beloved roles were mother, homemaker and caregiver. She dedicated her life to her family and over the years especially loved hosting large family holiday dinners, summer cookouts and many a holiday gathering around the Christmas tree. She loved the turn of the 19th century home that she and her husband Bill purchased and renovated for their young family to grow and celebrate all of life’s milestones in. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and held dear warm visits and conversations with siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. She loved vacationing on the beach, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, and dancing. Roxanna enjoyed attending church and her Bible study group. Her deep faith inspired those around her, and she leaves behind a legacy of grace, love and unwavering belief in God’s love and mercy.

Roxanna is survived by her son, William Osborn of Benton, IL; daughters, Cynthia Osborn and Sandy of Decatur, GA, Leah Osborn Schulte and Paul of rural Windsor, IL, Elizabeth Osborn Mol and Gary of Marblehead, OH, and Paige Osborn Barrantes and Josh of California City, CA. Roxanna treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren, leaving behind granddaughters: Shannon Verdeyen, Sascha Traxler, Sheree Carver, Anne-Marie Burlingame, and Grace Osborn and great-grandchildren, Addison, Annabelle, Alyxandria, Dawson, Evan, Corbin, Cillian, and Oliver. Roxanna was the fifth child of seven and the first-born girl. She held love and affection for her siblings and looked up to her older brothers. She is survived by brothers, Robert (Mary) White of Effingham, IL, Stanley White of Centralia, IL and sister Rita Kay White (Steve) Epps of Richview, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Wesley White, Harold Branson White, Myron Melvin White; Nephew Ben White; and Great-Nephew Ryan White.

Roxanna accepted the Lord as her savior and was baptized in 1964. She gave God the glory for the blessings in her life.
