Tina Jo Branham (68) of Flora

Tina Jo Branham, age 68, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday morning, October 27, 2024, at her home.
She was born February 17, 1956, in Flora, the daughter of Glen Leon and Laura Jean (Sloan) Henson. Tina had worked in the cafeteria at Flora High School and later as a department manager at Flora Walmart, recently retiring after 20 years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed coffee, taking photos, celebrating Halloween, and taking walks at Charley Brown Park. Her family held a very special place in her heart, and she truly loved each and every one of them. She always looked forward to spending time and making memories with her kids, grandkids, great-niece, and great-nephews. Tina had a remarkable ability to strike up a conversation and connect with anyone she met. Her friendly smile and vibrant spirit touched many lives over the years. She will be remembered for her kind and caring heart and the zest she had for life.
She is survived by her children: Amy (Tyson) Tolliver of Effingham and Ryan (Diana) Branham of Noble; 4 grandchildren: Kennedy and Jack Tolliver of Effingham and Lillie and Macie Branham of Noble; siblings: Sandra Henson of Cisne, Beverly (Chris) Britton of Orchardville, Connie (Dave) Rhodes of Flora, and David (Carolyn) Henson of Iuka; 4 nieces: Kendra (Greg) Warner of Effingham, Kristen (Cody) Lynn of Cisne, Taylor Rhodes (Trent Lewis) of Flora, and Jessica (Mark) Dickman of Alton; 2 great-nephews: Grant Warner and Sawyer Lynn; and a great-niece: Sophie Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
