Wade’s untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Yet the memories of his infectious smile, his generosity and his unwavering integrity will continue to inspire and comfort his family and friends. Wade’s life, though brief, was marked by the love he shared and the lives he touched.
Wade was preceded in death by his grandfather, Keith Barnes and his great-grandparents.
He was a 2023 graduate of Cowden-Herrick High School. Following graduation, he joined the workforce in construction. Wade was a true outdoorsman at heart, a “good ol country boy” who relished the time he spent in nature. His passion for farming was unmistakable, as he found solace and joy being around the cattle, a testament to his deep roots in the agricultural community. Hunting and International tractors were more than hobbies to Wade; they were a reflection of his love for tradition and the simplicity of rural life. Wade could often be found attending church services with his grandmother at Kaskaskia Church in rural Beecher City.
