Tera Ann Buskirk 87, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 11:05 AM Monday October 14, 2024 in St. Joseph, Illinois.
She was born June 25, 1937 in Breese, Illinois the daughter of Alfred and Maxine (Gifford) Ackmann. Mr. Ackmann passed away shortly after Tera’s birth, so she knew Harold McGlosson as her dad. Tera married Glenn Arthur Buskirk Sr. April 24, 1956 in Chrisman, Illinois. Mrs. Buskirk was a wife, mother, sister and together with her husband they managed a Dry Cleaning company for 34 years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Methodist Women and the Optimist Club.
Tera is survived by her sons, Kevin Neil Buskirk (Cissy) of St. Joseph, Illinois and Randall Buskirk (Kimberly) of Mahomet, Illinois; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Camilla Martin (Lloyd) of Oakwood, Illinois
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn A. Buskirk Sr.; son, Glenn A. Buskirk Jr; brother, Dean Ackmann.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2024 in the Grace United Methodist Church in Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday October 21, 2024 also in the church. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday October 22, 2024 in the Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Champaign, Illinois
