Patty Carol Gillespie (86) of Anthony, FL, formerly of Altamont

Patty Carol Gillespie, 86 years old, of Anthony, Florida formerly of Altamont, Illinois, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Thursday Morning, September 26, 2024, at the E.W. and Lucille Cates House in Ocala, Florida after a short time with a lingering illness.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday October 7, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday October 8, 2024, both at the Kull Funeral Chapel. Pastor Kent “Pee Wee” Denton officiating with Christian burial rites will be held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Moccasin Township, Effingham County following the funeral services. Arrangements: Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont, Illinois.
Patty Carol Gillespie was born along with her seven siblings into the Christian family of John Woodrow(Pete) and Leta LaVon Siddens-Dial on February 20, 1938, in Effingham, Illinois. While raising a family, she proudly was employed as a housewife. Patty loved music, spending time with her family, gardening and loved all her pets over the years. Patty is survived by

Daughter: Rhonda (husband Bo Reese) Klitzing of Anthony, Florida and her two daughters: Michelle ( husband Manny Sr.) Irizarry of Mattoon, Illinois and their children Manny Jr. and Skyler Mansfield, Melissa (husband Tony) Orndorff of Teutopolis, Illinois and their children: Coda and Kadence Orndorff and Avery Gee.
2-Brothers: Doug (wife Nancy) Dial of Teutopolis, Illinois, Jerry (wife Pam) Dial of Heartville, Illinois
4-Sisters: Jane Simmons of Altamont, Illinois, Joan Gunther of Monticello, Illinois, Ali Dial of Framingham, Massachusetts, and Janet (husband Dan) Roedl of Altamont, Illinois.
