Evonne Kaye (Sedgwick) Frazier of Carmel, Indiana, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Wednesday, July 3 at the age of 80.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Janesville Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, Illinois is assisting the family. Evonne was born on March 12, 1944, in Mattoon, Illinois to William Parker Sedgwick and Eleanor Evonne (Titus) Sedgwick. She graduated from Mattoon Community High School May 29, 1962. She married Eddie Lamont Frazier June 8, 1963. Evonne and Eddie had one son, David Lamont Frazier, born March 6, 1969.

Evonne was a dedicated homemaker that put family and friends first. She loved her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren fervently. Her smile, compassion, and willingness to give advice on any topic will be missed.

Evonne collected bells, Beanie Babies, and Hummel statues. She had a passion for bird watching and the outdoors; specifically hiking and visiting waterfalls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Evonne was preceded in death by her father, William Parker Sedgwick, mother, Eleanor Evonne (Titus) Sedgwick, brother, Robert E. Sedgwick, and husband, Eddie Lamont Frazier.

She is survived by her son, David Lamont Frazier, her daughter-in-law, Angela Marie (Hutchison) Frazier, her grandson, William Lamont Frazier, and her granddaughter, Katie Elizabeth Frazier.
