Mary Lou (Reynolds) Glover, 93, of Effingham, IL, died 10:18 a.m. on July 3, 2024, at her home residence.

Johnson Funeral Home of Effingham will be in charge. At the request of Mrs. Glover, her body will be cremated. There will be no services per Mrs. Glover’s request. Any memorials may be made to the First Church of God, Effingham, IL. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.

Mrs. Glover was born October 30, 1930, near Farina, IL in Fayette County, the daughter of Henry H. and Myrna M. (Murphy) Reynolds. She married Donald P. Eden on May 17, 1952. They were divorced. She married Delbert W. Glover on June 10, 1967. He died on March 28, 1995. She was a member of the First Church of God in Effingham, IL.

Survivors include son, Mark G. Eden (wife Faye) of Effingham; stepson, Tom Gollus of Findlay; stepdaughters, Christina Mack (husband Gary) of Victor, ID, Carla Davis (husband Gary) of Herrick, Lynne Jeffris (husband Jeff) of Sun Prairie, WI. Also surviving are many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, along with many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, LaVern, Louis, Henry, Zelma, and Bonnie. In addition, stepsons, Bill Glover of Effingham, IL and Rob Glover of Bloomington, IL; and stepdaughter, Vicki Rice of Memphis, TN.
