Marjorie Ann Fluga,88, of Stewardson, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Marjorie was born on February 9, 1936, in Effingham, to Waldo and Helen (Boldt) Rincker. In November 1954, she married Charles Frederick Fluga, and they were blessed with nearly 70 years of marriage. Marjorie dedicated her life to the Lord, her husband, her sons, her grandchildren and her greatgrandchildren. When not tending to her family, she could be found quilting, searching for collectibles to add to her collection, or in the yard tending to her roses and black raspberries. She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stewardson where she served with the Trinity Ladies Aid for many years.

Surviving is her husband, Charles of Stewardson; two sons, Eric (Julie) Fluga of Hanna City and Alan (Sue) Fluga of Steger; six grandchildren, Matthew (Cori) Fluga, Robin Fluga, Jennifer (Joe) Parsons, Timothy Fluga, Lisa Fluga, and Ben (Arien) Fluga; four great-grandchildren, Esma, Logan, Grace, and Bennett and her sister, Shirley Tomkins of Herrin.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gerry E. Fluga, and her brothers, Ervin and Clarence Rincker.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor David Weaver officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Stewardson Cemetery. Memorials may be given in her honor to Trinity Lutheran School in Stewardson. Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson is assisting the family.
