Patricia Lynn Dhom Walker, age 61, of Newton, passed away at 5:36 PM – Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.
A service celebrating Patricia’s life will be held on 12:00 PM (Noon) - Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. The burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery west of Willow Hill, Illinois. A visitation for family and friends will be held for an hour before the service. Patricia was born on January 26, 1963, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Jesse and Betty (Yocum) Utley. She married Steve Dhom, and he survives. Patricia was a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Patricia is survived by: Husband – Steve Dhom of Newton, Illinois Children – Jeremy Witt of Newton, Illinois; Steve “Stege” (Kaylee) Dhom of Newton, Illinois; Brittany (Jeremy) Babbs of Oblong, Illinois; and Jason Dhom of Salem, Illinois; Grandchildren – Thea Dhom, Bryar Babbs, Tucker Babbs, Lakrista Witt, Michael Witt, Jordan Witt, Jeri Witt, Rylee Witt, Emma McMain, Deno Anderson; Several Great Grandchildren; Sisters – Sherry Timbush (Noah Miller) of Cherry Valley, Illinois; and Vicki McClain of Bethany, Illinois ; Brother – Rodney (Joyce) Utley of Geneva, Alabama; Brother-in-law – Richard McCabe of Bethany, Illinois.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lakrista Mace and a sister Brenda McCabe.
