Teenna Louise (Phillipi) Bline, 64, of Greenup, passed away at 4:22 pm on Friday May 10, 2024, at Ridgeview Nursing and Rehab in Oblong, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday May 21, 2024, at The Word of Life Church located at 10369 N 230th St. in Casey, IL. A memorial visitation will also be on Tuesday May 21, 2024, at The Word of Life Church from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The final resting place will be in the Ruffner Cemetery in Rural Casey at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family with arrangements.
Teenna was born Saturday, July 18, 1959, in Charleston, IL to Carrie Evelyn (Alumbaugh) Phillipi and William L. “Bill” Phillipi, at the Charleston Community Memorial Hospital in Charleston, IL. She was the sixth of ten children. She married Charles Edward “Chuck” Bline, Jr on December 25, 1978, and together had two children.
Survivors include: two children Corey Edward Bline (Glenda), Woodstock, GA and Heather Renee Bline Witt (Jim), Casey, IL; two grandsons Eli & Evan Witt; siblings Tricia (Kim) Conley, Herrin, IL, Tammy Ormsby, Greenup, IL, Tim Phillipi, Casey, IL, Tonya (Gary) Nohren, Casey, IL, Tracie (Steve) Devall, Greenup, IL, and Troy (Rhonda) Phillip, Phelps, KY; and her partner Chuck Gruning and their three dogs, Buddy, Ozzie, and Max; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved deeply; and two grand-dogs: Piper and Pedro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie Evelyn (Alumbaugh) Phillipi and William “Bill” Phillipi; siblings, Terri Mancell, Ted Phillipi, and Mickey Phillipi; niece Grace Michelle Mancell; the father of her children Charles Edward “Chuck” Bline, and former partner, Darrell “Buck” Risinger.
Teenna graduated from Cumberland High School in Toledo, IL in 1978. She was a CNA for most of her adult life. She loved helping people, especially the elderly. She had a huge heart and loved fiercely. Her pride and joy were her kids, grandkids, Chuck, and dogs. She loved to laugh and have fun and was the life of the party. She loved Jesus and followed him in believers’ baptism on October 24, 2015. She enjoyed reading her Bible and praying for her family and friends.
