Our darling James Austin Warren tragically left us on April 24, 2024, due to a vehicle accident at the four-way stop on the Moccasin Road near Lake Sara or Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be conducted by Father Merak Kasperczuk Saturday May 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont, Illinois. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Kull Funeral Chapel prior to the funeral service. Burial: will follow the funeral services at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in rural Fayette County Illinois near Beecher City, Illinois where all family members are buried.

James was born on September 6, 2023, and only child of Brittni Karnes and Jordan Warren. James was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Elmo, Illinois on February 10. 2024.James was always smiling and would laugh until he snorted and looked around to see who had done that and would start laughing again. He could army crawl anywhere where he wanted to go and loved his favorite toy which was a frog. James began giving kisses and was learning how to get what he wanted from the people around him. He was known as Sharky by some of the family (because of his initials). He will forever be his Mommy’s Little Man and be greatly missed by family and friends.

James is survived by his parents Brittni Karnes and Jordan Warren of Beecher City, maternal grandparents Willie and Barb Karnes of Beecher City, Aunt Sydnee Karnes of Altamont. Paternal grandparents Bryce and Renee Phillips of Ingraham and paternal great grandmother Becky Heflin of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Donna and Keith Grob of Ferguson, Missouri and Aunt Angelia Warren of Troy Missouri, Uncle Liam Phillips of Ingraham and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

James was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents Elbert and Ruthie Karnes, Bob Jackson and Pam Jackson and Paternal great grandfather James (Jim,) Heflin, Great Grandmother Cathy Frenchack and Cousin Zachrey Jackson.
