Dale L. Pruemer (61) of Teutopolis

Dale Lawrence Pruemer, 61 of Teutopolis, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday. Memorial donations may be given to the Construction Trade program for Effingham County Schools (CTEC), Community Support Systems (CSS), or the charity of the donor’s choice. Dale was born May 8th, 1962 in Sherman, Texas to the son of Larry and Patty Pruemer. He married Linda K. Bierman on August 15, 1992, and she survives. Dale graduated in 1980 from Teutopolis High School. Dale was co-owner of Pruemer Concrete Construction since 1983 and Pruemer Sheep Farm. Dale was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Men's Sodality, and Teutopolis Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. Rocking and holding his grandchildren was his recent favorite. He also enjoyed countless hours at the family farm with his son Jared and his beloved border collie dogs. His most favorite was late evening golf cart rides with his wife and jeep rides with his neighbors and friends. Anyone who knew Dale knew he had a huge heart and would help anyone with anything.

Dale is survived by his wife, Linda Pruemer; daughter, Maci (Cory) Westfall of Watson; son, Jared (Karli) Pruemer of Teutopolis; two granddaughters, Annie Kay Westfall and Elsie Jo Pruemer and one grandchild on the way; father, Larry of Teutopolis; siblings, Diana (Del) Althoff, Sharon (Steve) Harder, Wayne (Shantell) Pruemer, JoEllen (Jason) Steinhebel, and Mary Beth (Corey) Sandschafer; father-in-law, Glen Bierman; sisters-in-law, Lori Bierman, Susan (Mike) Platz, Cindy (Allen) Konkel; brother-in-law, Sam (Stacie) Bierman; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Patty; mother-in-law, Marlene Bierman; and brother-in-law, Tim Bierman.
