Diana Scholes (70) of Brownstown

Dianna L. Scholes, 70, of Brownstown died at 2:25 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2024 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Brownstown with PeeWee Denton officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Wright’s Corner, rural Fayette County. Visitation will be for 2 hours prior to service time. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Cancer Center, Effingham or the donors choice.

Dianna was born on Sunday, October 25, 1953 in Vandalia, IL to Charles Herbert and Shirley L. (Denning) Scholes. She retired in 2022 from Quad Graphics, Effingham and had previously worked at Friendship Manor, St. Elmo and Orgill Distribution, Vandalia.

She is survived by: her son, Bryan Scholes, Brownstown; sister, Dana (Roy) Rogers of Effingham; nephews, Jeff Christianson, Terry (Ginger) Christianson and Blake Christianson, great nephews, Brayden Christianson and Jacob Christianson; grandpup, Ozzie.

Dianna was preceded in death by: her parents and her daughter-in-law, Chantelle Scholes.
