Pauline F. Worman (89) of Effingham

Pauline F. Worman, 89 of Effingham, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga with her husband of nearly 68 years by her side, holding her hand.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 25, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be given to Fear Nothing or St. Anthony Schools. Pauline was born July 10, 1934 in Cumberland County, the daughter of Alphonse and Clara (Hoene) Ruholl. She married Richard J. Worman on April 21, 1956. Pauline was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, especially pie. Her cherry pie was always a favorite. She enjoyed holidays and decorating for them, especially Christmas. Pauline loved playing board games and took great pride in attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. She was a member of St. Anthony Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Ron, Bob (Carletta), and Dennis (Lori); daughter, Carla (John) Kaufman; grandchildren, Brett (Marni) Heuerman, DeDe (Josh) McElravy, Tiffany (Mike) Worman, Bobby (Jessie) Worman, Brianne (Daniel) Carter, Taylor (Paige) Worman, Chelsea (Andy) Glosser, Chad (Kayla) Kaufman, and Caitlin Kaufman; nineteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcie Kruger and Kathy (Phil) Niebrugge; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Fred) Lohman; and her brother-in-law, Joe Huber.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Kay “Debbie” Worman; sisters, Dolores (Clarence) Vogt and Mary Ann Huber; brother, Joe (Carol) Ruholl; infant siblings, John Henry and Mary Agnes; father and mother-in-law, Albert and Amelia Worman, and brother-in-law, Gary Kruger.
