Monte Beck (86) of Altamont

Monte Beck, 86, of Altamont, died at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Altamont Christian Church with Pastor Jody Kitts officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be for an hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be made to Altamont Christian Church. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Monte Ralph Beck was born on Sunday, December 26, 1937 in Glasco, Kansas to Elmer and Beatrice (Hillan) Beck. He married Brenda Edwards and she survives. He was retired from Natural Gas Pipeline of American and was a member of Altamont Christian Church.
In addition to his wife; he is survived by; his son, Scott (Nikki) Beck, Altamont; daughter, Mary Todd, Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ross O’Conner, Shelby (Mitchell) Wolff and Brody Beck; and great grandchildren, Beckett and Truett Wolff.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; daughter, Sharon Beck; sister, Betty Nelson.
