Glen E. Stanley, 64, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his home.

Glen was born on June 15, 1959 in Effingham, IL, the son of Robert E. and Mable (Zumbaugh) Stanley. After attending Effingham High School, Glen worked many jobs from the printing industry to park maintenance. Glen especially enjoyed the many years he spent with his beloved dog “CoCo.” He enjoyed his experiences traveling throughout the United States. He also liked fishing and riding his bike.

Glen is survived by his brothers, Robert G. Stanley of Lerna, IL, William (Cindy) Stanley of Effingham, Mark Stanley of Indiana, and his twin brother, Gary Stanley of Holland, MI; sisters, Maria (Charles) Prosser of Effingham and Mary (Joe) Ullrich of Altamont; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kathy Schoonover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mable Stanley; and sister, Martha Sparks.
