Glenna Kay Hanna (84) of St. Elmo

Glenna Kay Hanna, age 84, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 9:22 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at her home.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Elmo Christian Church. Jim Quick will be officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the church. Memorials may go to St. Elmo Food Pantry, St. Elmo American Legion, Bond Christian camp, or the donor’s choice. Kay was born on March 18, 1939 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of George and Rose (Claxton) Dugan. She married Ralston Xon Hanna on December 28, 1958 in Centralia. She was a member of the St. Elmo United Methodist Church, Altamont VFW Aux, St. Elmo American Legion Aux. She also volunteered at the St. Elmo Food Pantry, and Caring and Sharing. Kay and her husband owned the Hanna Farm and Auto Supply Store where she worked for 33 years. Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Additionally, she loved singing, traveling, and helping within the community.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Elliott (husband Mark) of St. Elmo; grandchildren, Emily, Caleb and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Garrett; sisters-in-law, Sue Dugan of Centralia and Leah Dugan of Golconda, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralston Xon Hanna; son, Brad Xon Hanna; brothers, Bob Dugan and George Dugan; sister, Betty Roper.
