William Edward "Bill" Levitt, 72, of Spokane, WA formerly of rural Neoga, Illinois, passed away Sunday January 27, 2024 in the Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA.

He was born October 8, 1951 in Mattoon, Illinois the son of Maurice J. and June Eloise (Bixler) Levitt. He was a graduate of Neoga High School and proudly served in the National Guard. Bill was a self employed truck driver in Spokane, WA.

Mr. Levitt is survived by his brother Evert Levitt (Connie) of Monticello, Illinois; sister, Wanda White of Mattoon, Illinois; Nephews, Matthew White (Courtney) and their son Daxton White of Mattoon, Illinois, Joshua White (Tamara) of Mattoon, Illinois, Corey Levitt (Shelly Vaughn) and his children, Jacob and Madison Levitt of Monticello, Illinois, Nicholas Levitt (Katie Triplett) and his child, Faith Levitt of Bement, Illinois; niece, Emily Carlyle (Aaron) and their children, Colby and Kaine Carlyle of Monticello, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery near Neoga, Illinois.
