Susan “Sue” Ann Moomaw, 75, of Stewardson, Illinois, sadly left us on Thursday, January 25, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 6, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri to Elizabeth B. (Wiegand) Kraft and George A. Kraft. Sue married Lowell Moomaw Jr. on May 28, 1966, in Stewardson.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, her three daughters, Leslie (Steve) Overbeck of Teutopolis, Jill Overbeck of Stewardson and Stacy (James) Law of Tucson, Arizona; her seven grandsons, James Overbeck, Garrett (Rose) Overbeck, Dalton (Brooke) Overbeck, Joshua (Sarah Kirchhofer) Overbeck, Jonathan (Gracie Blalock) Law, Dylan Overbeck, and Jacob Kellum; her six great-grandchildren, Mason, Kaden, Carter, Emma, Stetson, and Sage; her two brothers, Ronald (Lynn) Kraft of Teutopolis and Terry (Gail) Kraft of Effingham; her three in-laws, Ronald (Jeannie) Moomaw, Marilyn Sears, and Donna Moomaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson with Levi Schrock officiating. Burial will take place in Stewardson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in Brummerstedt Funeral Home.
