Donald P. Rodgers, 65, of St. Elmo, died at 3:23 p.m. Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Springhill Cemetery, rural Beecher City. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Donald Phil Rodgers was born on Friday, September 5, 1958 in Shelbyville to Don and Marcella (Galvin) Rodgers. He was retired as an oil field gauger for Plains Oil Company.
He is survived by; his sisters, Gayla (Carl Gatewood) Kimberlin, St. Elmo and Crystal (Marty) Haslett, St. Elmo; and nieces and nephews, Brandon Kimberlin, Justin Brasel, Dustin Kimberlin, Tara McWhorter and Joshua Kimberlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
