Thomas H. Clark, 76, of rural Altamont, died at 5:28 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his home.
Private family services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 and burial will follow. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Thomas was born on Wednesday, May 14, 1947 in Vandalia, Il to Kenneth and Madonna (Homann) Clark. He married Rebecca J. Fancher on May 2, 1981. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968-1976 during the Vietnam War and was present during the fall of Saigon and served two tours of duty in Thailand. He was an electrician for SIM Products, Shumway for 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #120, Effingham.
He is survived by: his wife of over 42 years, Rebecca; daughter, Kimberly Clark of Altamont; sister, Wendy K. Clark of Salem; granddaughter, Isabella Evans.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kenny Clark.
