Tammy Sue Webb (57) of Newton

Tammy Sue Webb age 57, of Newton passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Funeral services celebrating Tammy’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25th at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton, Illinois with Pastor Rick Britton officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Newton, Illinois.

Tammy was born on January 27, 1966, in Effingham, Illinois the daughter of George and Barbara (Flowers) Maxwell. Tammy was a graduate of Newton Community High School, Class of 1984. On August 13, 1993, Tammy married Greg Webb in Olney, Illinois. He survives. Tammy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with them. Tammy loved spending time outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. She liked to take drives through the country and listen to music. She loved animals and caring for them, especially horses and her dog, Abby.

Tammy will be loved and remembered by her husband, Greg Webb of Newton; mother, Barbara Maxwell of Newton; sons, Jason Souden of Newton, Justin Souden, wife Jolynn of Olney, Cody Webb, wife Amanda of Edgewood, Harley Webb and Marisa Gordon of Sullivan, Justin Webb, wife Jessica of Jewett, Brad Webb, wife Rachel of Martinsville and Michael Webb, wife Missy of Toledo; grandchildren, Justin Souden, Jr., Josephine Souden, Stormie Webb, Meadow Webb, Willow Webb, Maddox Webb, Harrison Webb, Emerie Webb, Hunter Webb, Clayton Webb, Nathaniel Webb, Alexis Webb, Nataleigh Webb, Tripp Webb, Chloe Webb, Briar Webb and Dylan Webb; siblings, Sandy Maxwell Lundy, husband Larry of Switz City, IN and George Maxwell, Jr. of Newton.

Her grandparents, father George Maxwell, Sr. and brother Tim Maxwell preceded her in death.
