Joseph W. Joliff, age 48, of Beecher City, Illinois passed away at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in St. Elmo with a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Casual attire is suggested. Dan Laack will be officiating. Burial will be at Kaskaskia Cemetery, rural Beecher City, Illinois. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in St. Elmo. Joe was born on November 23, 1974 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Gary L. Joliff and Patricia A. Vogel. He married Jaime Plopper on September 16, 2006. Joe was owner/operator of South Central Energy Services. He loved bow hunting, driving his Nova SS, working with his heavy equipment, bass fishing, Rams Football, and his dogs, Mac & Mav.

He is survived by his wife, Jaime Joliff of Beecher City; parents, Gary Joliff (wife Linda) of Altamont and Patty Atwood (husband Max) of St. Elmo; brothers, Michael Joliff of Altamont, Bryan Atwood (wife Michelle) of Tucson, Arizona, and Stephen Atwood of Tucson, Arizona; sisters, Rebecca Joliff of Effingham, Megan Huddleston (husband Nic) of Yale, Angel Sims (husband Dylan) of Phoenix, Arizona, Andrea Joergens (husband Dusty) of Dieterich, Angie Addleman (husband Al) of Tucson, Arizona; sister-in-law, Wendy Matlock (husband Clint) of Effingham; grandmothers, Delores Vogel of Farina and Evelyn Joliff of Altamont; parents-in-law, Kyle and Terri Taylor; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dariane Weis; grandfathers, Bruce Vogel and Clyde Joliff; grandmas, Meme Vogel and grandma Beaman; aunt, Suzie Rush.
